What Makes MNHFS a Great Choice?

The success of my athletes comes from many levels; first, I always keep low ratios. This way I can be attentive to the individual athlete. Second, I try to educate my athletes about the logistics to their training; seasonal implications for training the metabolic, neurological, hormonal, muscle fiber and cardiovascular system and the dietary needs to support these changes. This way they have a better understanding of what it takes to heighten their efforts.

Also, I stress teaching the young adults that a sport is a psychological microcosm of life. I work on setting up a learning atmosphere that transcends sports. Teaching young men and women perspective allows athletes to relax and enjoy sports with much greater success. More importantly, it teaches them to have confidence in themselves; to tackle any challenge that life may throw their way while remaining humble secondary to an impenetrable self - confidence.

Sporting behavior; appreciation; value; and respect for themselves and other human beings; loving themselves for their individual uniqueness and leading by example are traits I measure and value as much as their physical gains. My athletes have kept coming back to me for advice for the past 25 years. That is the greatest reward and compliment!

All programs have value but some fail to prepare an athlete for the highest intensity. Racing a 4-cylinder car continually around the track will not make the car go any faster. Instead, building up the engine to a 6 or 8 cylinders is the only way to see significant changes; now there is some power to work with. My program doesn't start with the highest of intensities; a foundation is the fist step to increase the horsepower. This way the results are more impressive and risk of injury dramatically goes down.
